RAP vs Value

Two numbers, two meanings. Knowing which one you are looking at prevents most bad trades.

The short version

RAP is Roblox's recent-sale average. Community Value is what traders actually agree to pay. They are not the same thing and often differ a lot.

Reading the gap

Community Value well above RAP usually means strong demand and thin supply. That is normal for sought-after Limiteds, and it is why RAP undervalues them.

RAP above Community Value is rarer. It can mean the item sold well recently but has cooled, or that a few sales distorted the average.

When the two are close, the number is probably steady and easier to trade on.

How this site uses them

The analyzer totals up Community Value where it exists and RAP where it does not, then tells you which side used which.

It also warns you when the two disagree sharply on the same item, because that is exactly when a trade can look fair and be badly unbalanced.
