What RAP means
RAP is Roblox's own number. It is the average price Roblox has seen for an item over roughly the last few days, and Roblox publishes it. It is not a price anyone agreed to.
Where it comes from
RAP is calculated by Roblox from recent sales of that item. Because it is a moving average of actual completed sales, it reacts to what really sold rather than to what people are asking for.
It is recalculated on Roblox's schedule, so the figure you see can lag reality by a little.
Why traders mostly ignore it
For popular Limiteds, RAP is often a long way below what people will actually pay. A lot of demand for a small supply pushes the real trading price up while the recent-sale average stays lower.
Treat RAP as a useful floor and a sanity check, not as the value of your item.
Where this site gets it
RAP is pulled from the Rolimons item details dataset and refreshed on a schedule. Every item page shows RAP next to Community Value and tells you which number is being used.
If an item has no community value, this site falls back to RAP and labels it, so you always know which number you are reading.
Put it into practice
